Eight years of Justice For Hire—and we’re finishing the film 🥳🤜🎥☯️

Watch a special scene from our feature!

Hey everyone,

I’ve spent most of this year—and nearly the entire summer—filming and finishing the Justice For Hire feature.

That’s also why I’ve been quieter than usual. I haven’t stepped away from JFH. I’ve been deep inside it, doing the work required to finally bring one complete story out of the universe we’ve built together.

Some of you have acted in JFH. Some of you have trained with us, attended events, created characters, shared episodes, or supported this idea from the beginning. You helped turn Justice For Hire from something I imagined into a world people could actually enter.

Last November, our JFH Actionverse LA event—the largest we’ve ever produced in Los Angeles—showed footage from the feature. The response was clear:

“Please finish this.”

Then, in February, Dad Life revealed the emotional spine I had been searching for. Justice For Hire has always been about heroism, community, technology, and responsibility—but the feature is also a love letter to fatherhood. It’s about the kind of man, father, and hero Jan/Hero #0 is trying to become.

That gave me the center of the film.

An evolving cinematic universe can continue indefinitely. Characters keep growing. New people enter. Stories emerge in different cities and at different moments. But finishing a feature requires another kind of discipline: choosing one story, finding its heart, and bringing it to an end—even while the larger universe continues.

For our eighth anniversary, I created a special cut of an unreleased scene and entered it into the Future Vision XPRIZE. I also made a new video explaining how Star Trek, martial arts, meditation, community, and Justice For Hire all connect.

The actual XPRIZE film remains unlisted, so I’m not sending that link blindly. If you want to see it, reply directly to this email with JFH, or comment JFH on the Instagram post. I’ll send it to you personally.

Justice For Hire began with friends, cameras, and people willing to enter the story. Now, emerging filmmaking tools are helping us complete parts of the original vision that we didn’t yet have the resources to realize.

But the heart of it remains human.

Thank you for being part of this universe. We’re almost there.
